Do these filters use any toxic chemicals?
No. Our filtration process uses high-purity Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) and SP3 Anti-Scale media. These are advanced, solid-state materials designed for high-performance extraction and scale prevention without the use of harsh chemical additives or phosphates.
Do these filters leave any chemicals behind or allow anything else to seep into the water?
Quite the opposite. MOFs act like molecular sponges, specifically engineered to “trap and hold” contaminants within their porous structures, preventing them from seeping back into your water. Additionally, our SP3 technology is a physical process that stabilizes minerals rather than adding sodium or chemicals, ensuring your water remains pure and balanced.
How often should I change my filters?
To maintain the high adsorption capacity of the MOFs and the effectiveness of the SP3 media, we recommend a replacement every 6 months. This ensures the “molecular gates” of the filters remain open and ready to capture new contaminants.
How can I tell if my filters are old and need changing?
- Scaling Appearance: If you notice white spotting returning to your glass or fixtures, the SP3 media may be reaching its capacity.
- Flow Rate Changes: As the internal structures capture fine particulates and heavy metals, you may notice a slight drop in water pressure.
